3 Weeks and Counting.....

I went to the doctor today and Cooper is still all nice and snuggly in my belly. We have scheduled a c-section for April 28th. Cooper is breech and will probably not turn, unless God wants him too! I feel that I am finally ready for his arrival. Connor is excited but I still worry about him and all the changes that are to come.

I am waiting on my Bum Genius Cloth diapers to arrive in the mail. Ronnie and I decided to give them a try to see what it would be like. I am really looking forward to the challenge. I am also going to exclusively breast feed. I work at at great Mom's Day Out so I will be able to continue this when I go back to work. Hopefully between the two we will not only be a little more eco-friendly but we will also save a lot of money!

Please pray for us that everything will go as planned and that Cooper will be a healthy baby!

Preparing for Changes...

It has been a while since I last posted. We are still preparing for the arrival of Cooper. I will know of a specific date tomorrow because they are doing a growth scan/ultrasound to measure him. I had a shower on March 6th given by friends at work and got some very nice, useful things.

I seem to think that Connor is becoming more and more aware of what is fixing to happen and that he is trying to figure out in his three-year old mind what to do. He is excited and tells me that he is going to be my big helper but I also sense a lack of completely understanding everything that will be happening. He is my firstborn and will always be very special to me because of that. I struggle everyday with how I am going to love two. I know that it will/should come naturally but I am worried about how it all will effect Connor. He is a precious boy and I want him to always know that, which he will because I have promised myself that we will continue to have special Mommy and Connor times.

The baby room is ready and I am beginning to pick up little things here and there. Until next time....
