Connor Turns 6!

Connor turned 6 on 1-4-12! I cannot believe that he is already 6! I remember like it was yesterday that he was born and made me a Mommy for the first time! We started the day with a scavenger hunt to find his presents we got him. He got Skylander's for the XBox for Christmas and was wanting more of those. We wrapped them and placed them all over the house in places we knew he would "visit" before school. He had a great time searching. Then Ronnie and I surprised him at school to eat lunch with him and have cupcakes with his class.

After they had cupcakes we checked him out and spent the rest of the day with him. We have started a new tradition of taking him somewhere to eat for his birthday and he picked the peanut place (Logan's). We had a great time and they even announced it was his birthday and gave him a big Yeeee-Hawwww! He was a little embarrassed. After a full day of celebrating we headed home to bed!

Connor also decided to not have a big birthday party this year. He only wanted two his his buddies to come over and spend the night. One was able to come and unfortunately the stomach bug did not allow for his other buddy to make it. He was disappointed but in the end he had a great time!
